BRANDING DESIGN

The Windowsen company was started by a Chinese fashion designer named Sensen Lii. His clothes are very modern and unique. They look like they're from the future, with lots of bright colors and styles that can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender. Sensen Lii named his company Windowsen because he sees the system of that time as representing the future, which matches the main idea of his brand. Also, "Window" in Windowsen has a special meaning. It shows how his brand acts like a window, connecting his ideas with the outside world, sharing his views, and building a community. The goal of this project was to create a branding identity for the Windowsen company that would not only represent his work but also make people view his work from a different perspective.

PROCESS

The concept I opted for draws inspiration from Sensen Lii's alien-themed clothing line. I envisioned a transformation of the initial letter "W" of his company into an array of shimmering diamonds. Diamonds, renowned for their association with the extraordinary and glamorous, akin to cosmetics, signify an element of transcendence from the ordinary, lending an ethereal quality to the logo. This choice not only mirrors the otherworldly essence of Windowsen's fashion designs but also evokes a sense of luxury and sophistication, further accentuating thebrand's distinctiveness.

OUTCOME

The outcome is a distinctive and impactful brand with a non-traditional style that embodies its brand identity. It serves as a window to something mysterious and unusual, suggesting a detachment from reality. I've strived to incorporate unconventional elements in the brand logo, blending and challenging traditional styles. The use of diamonds adds a provocative element, inviting consideration of what the brand identity could encompass for the future. My outcome was to create another dimension — an alternate reality where things may function differently from the space we inhabit.
