The Montreal Metro is a rubber-tired underground rapid transit system serving Montreal, Quebec in Canada.One of the most captivating aspects of the Montreal Metro is its integration of art within its stations. Each station serves as a canvas for artistic expression, featuring captivating murals, sculptures, and installations that enrich the commuter experience.
PROCESS
The aim is to create informative, sleek, and minimalist designs for all the artworks. This drive inspired me to produce a brochure that offers strong, straightforward, and engaging design through visual methods. The brochure would embrace a clean and minimalist concept, providing a comprehensive overview of the Metro system. Each chapter, including the cover, would showcase artwork by year found in metro stations, alongside profiles of the contributing artists involved in constructing the Montreal Metro.
OUTCOME
Overall, my final product is an engaging and interactive booklet featuring a minimalist cover and text layout that showcases the rich artwork found in metro stations. As readers progress through the pages, they not only enjoy a visual exploration of the Metro's artistic treasures but also develop a deeper understanding of the creative minds shaping Montreal's urban artwork.
