The goal for this project to revised a website design for Act programm and make it more easy friendly and organized. ACT program MIT’s Program in Art, Culture, and Technology (ACT) is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on exploring the intersections of art, culture, and technology.
The ACT website serves to promote the program and inform potential future art students about exhibitions, lectures, and inspiring artists. However, I have identified several issues with the ACT website, including text hierarchy, contrast inconsistencies, and poorly organized navigation, leading to user confusion. My goal is to redesign a website that prioritizes user-friendliness, functionality, and visual appeal, providing visitors with an intuitive and seamless browsing experience.
I’ve implemented a redesigned layout focused on enhancing user experience and giving the website a fresh look. This redesign aims to create a more intuitive information structure for visitors. I’ve chosen vibrant colors like green and black to grab attention effectively. Green, symbolizing growth, harmony, and balance, was a deliberate choice to evoke these qualities. Additionally, I’ve utilized the sans serif, bold typeface, known for its readability and neutral tone, making it suitable for a wide range of projects.
